The Sani-Shopping Cover is made of a specially developed material  that requires no adhesives and can be sanitized and re-used time after time.  

The Sani-Shopping Cover was developed to assist in the prevention, of the transferring of germs and bacteria from one hand to another.

Indirect contact transmission, involves an object that becomes contaminated by touch (the fomite) then spreads the infection by touch. Diseases that commonly spread by means of Fomites include the common cold, cold sores, conjunctivitis, coxsackie virus (hand-foot-mouth disease), croup, E. coli infection, fifth disease (“slap cheek”), Giardia infection, impetigo, influenza, lice, meningitis, pinworms, rotavirus diarrhea, strep and RSV.

RSV is very contagious. The disease spreads when infected droplets in the air or on the hands encounter someone else’s mouth or nose.  It can remain on the hands for half an hour, and on Fomites  for hours.

Bacterial infections, such as the staph or strep  cause impetigo, is usually spread only if there is a break in the skin, perhaps from an insect bite, a scratch, or repeatedly wiping the irritated skin under an on-going runny nose. The same tends to be true for viral infections, such as herpes simplex.

The Sani-Shopping Cover does just what it says:  Covers the Shopping Cart Handle, including the cracks and crevices you can’t reach with a sanitary wipe. Wipes need to be at least 60% alcohol to be effective according to some researchers.  Some of the wipes state that you need to wet down the object you are cleaning, and let it sit for four (4) minutes for them to be work properly.

Easy to Remove:  Since it is made of a specially formulated vinyl it requires no adhesives.  Simply loosen one corner and remove. 

Re-Usable Over & Over :  After use, wash off with soap and water.  Place on the shaping tube provided, and use again and again.
